02 / Whole-capture foresight

See beyond
the next peak.

PostPeak analyses the captured track to anticipate upcoming peaks and shape continuous gain transitions. The approach is designed to reduce unnecessary gain movement and modulation distortion.

Set the approach with Attack and the recovery with Release.

03 / The workflow

Capture. Shape. Finish.

01 — CAPTURE

Give it the full picture.

Capture the complete material you intend to bounce, after the processors that shape your sound.

02 — SHAPE

Find your balance.

Adjust Gain, Attack, Release, Ceiling and Stereo Link. Zoom in to explore the prepared gain-reduction curve. Let optimization finish.

03 — FINISH

Bounce through your DAW.

Once Optimized, bounce through the plugin with the same source audio and timeline.

A few useful details

Before you

A different approach, with familiar controls.

Is this a replacement for my favourite limiter?

It can be your final limiting stage. The companion workflow lets you keep your preferred tone and dynamics processors, then use PostPeak for prepared true-peak control. Set the amount by ear.

Why does it need a capture?

The capture gives PostPeak access to upcoming material beyond a short live lookahead. Capture the full material and keep the source and timeline consistent when bouncing. Changed or uncaptured material is outside that prepared protection.

What do Attack, Release and Link change?

A slower Attack begins attenuation earlier. A slower Release recovers more gradually and can connect nearby peaks. Stereo Link ranges from independent channels at 0% to shared reduction at 100%, with fine adjustment in between.

How does the 14-day trial work?

Choose Run demo in the installed plugin to start the full-feature trial. The same computer keeps its original 14-day period. Register with your licensed email and serial to continue after the trial. Expired access stops active-plugin audio processing; your captures and settings remain saved.

Which formats are available?

macOS on Apple Silicon and Intel: AAX, AU and VST3. Windows 64-bit: VST3. Published installers appear in the downloads section above.
